Gum leaves and the Angel Fish
Keeping within the theme of "At Sea" and Working within my current series of Still Life against collected Vintage Fabrics immediately drew me to this 1960's Terry towelling fabric. The Fish and bubbles reminds of me of a carefree childhood by the sea in terry shorts and bright towels. My grandparents house by the coast full of grey / blue gums and bright proteas, this painting is an ode to my childhood summer holidays.
This artwork comes to you in a Tasmanian Oak frame with raw front and BLACK sides ready to hang on your wall with a strong wire hanger.
