Inspired by my extensive collection of Vintage fabrics, I am currently creating a body of works depicting european flora within an Australian landscape.
This work was created with a wish to present the idealised English cottage garden bouquet in all its frothy glory. The colours and shapes an alien presence that is also familiar, warm and beautiful.
My Still Life paintings feature locally grown flora from around the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria, Australia where I live and work.
