Retro Blue and the Pullalating Proteas

I've been collecting Vintage and Antique fabrics for over 20 years and have always been inspired by the bright colours and patterns they present. This painting shows two of my most favourite 1970's Barkcloth fabrics, the clash of blues in these really pop! A bright enamel vase holds a selection of nearby gardens delights, I chose the more angular botanics to mimic the design and complimentary colours of the fabrics. 

This painting measures 51cm wide and 61cm high with a metal hanger to the back ready for your wall.
